Day 2: Movements

by Sarah Devika Sumnauth

So as life would have it, I somehow lucked into getting access to a rent free space to call my office for the next year.  It also just so happens to be my big sisters room, which daylights as a spare room considering she no longer lives at home.  With some careful persuasion and a dash of compromise, it’s now mine for the next year and boy oh boy do I have plans for it.

I would like to just take a moment to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Melis.  Without your cooperation, I wouldn’t be able to move forward full force with my dreams.

This office space will become my studio and home office, aka Urban Minerals central.  It is also nicely situated next to my room.  This makes me all kinds of happy.

Having a workspace to call your own, that is to your liking, well lit, secluded when need be is essential to any operation.  But seeing as this is a sole enterprise at the moment, I am the brains of the operation and the hired muscle, except there’s no payment for carting everything out of it, cleaning it up and giving it a new chance at life – yet ;)

Welcome to my humble abode…
