So today marks one full week that I’ve been updating content to UrbanMinerals.ca , and I gotta say, wow!
*pats on the back*.
Setting yourself a challenge is one thing but actually sticking to it and making it happen is another. I can’t tell you how many New Years resolutions I’ve set and failed at! Thankfully I have found inspiration or put some inspiration into my life each day and that has been wonderfully motivating for me to put fingers to keyboard - which means, that I’m already starting to reap the rewards.
The rewards are manifesting themselves in more confidence and a sense that each time I talk about this I’m getting closer to where I want to be. The cool thing is, somehow, the Universe is responding by allowing me to meet new people and talk about Urban Minerals.
I go to Staples to speak to a man about a computer, and out of that I get a 20 minute conversation about my venture and a lot of questions answered about said comp. I go to a 1 year olds birthday party and get to run my ideas by all of my boyfriends – boys – girlfriends (follow me?). I post every day, and I’m back in contact with at least one person from the past who is genuinely interested in Urban Minerals.
And yes, I do have my moments of frustration just like you. I had one today even, which had me literally cursing my confounded word processor for doing something so stupid, I almost separated hair from scalp. But as always, I removed myself from the situation, focused on other work for an hour, than came back to it, ability to work and keep my sanity still in check.
So here’s to the next 51 weeks, a long road to be sure, but one that will lead me to my dreams.
*Was just driving up the DVP, and thought wow I live in such a beautiful part of the world, and wow what a cool bendy road, lol I’m a child.
