The Times Ahead

by Sarah Devika Sumnauth

So today was a day of really great clarity for me in my business plan.  I put my nose to the grindstone 3 days ago and today I finally realized some essentials to the way I want to run my business and the kind of money that I want to be making.  It makes so much sense to me now that I’ve worked through a lot of the core financial analysis and projections, and I can honestly say that I feel really good about it all.

Also, as Wednesday approaches, I’m gearing up to start cataloging Urban Minerals line with 30 beautiful, multicultural women.  That day will kick start a months worth of visits with people from all walks of life, who all experience different skin types and tones and just want to feel beautiful in their own right.  I’m so excited just to sit down with them and talk skin and makeup.  What’s more, I can’t wait to start manufacturing all of the colours in my line finally! It’s going to be a wild ride and for the first time I’m beginning to have amazing clarity on all fronts.

In my dream this point is the time in which things will begin to culminate.  I know that this is the eye of the storm.  From here on out, I will only be making crucial, big woman decisions and everything counts in the most delicious ways.  I can’t wait to see it all come to fruition!

I hope to be able to look back on these experiences with a sense that ya, at this point in my life things really transitioned and this is the point where I began to really POP off.  I know that it will take some elbow grease, which I look forward to.  But, the most important aspect of it all is the human interaction that I love and cherish.  Yes there are the financial aspects and projections into the future, but what keeps me real and grounded is speaking to these women, hearing their stories and mixing their beings right into Urban Minerals multicultural lineup.  What’s better than that?!

So as I say goodnight, I hope to continue my dream with another tonight about all of the exciting and beautiful times ahead.  With nothing but love,

Sarah Devika
