Day 118: How to Manifest

by Sarah Devika Sumnauth

I often think to myself how wonderful this world is and how colourfully chaotic it is all at the same time.  There are some mornings where I wake up feeling frenetic and uneven, grasping at the dream I just had or forgetting and trying to remember what I was supposed to do.  And then there are morning where I wake up so filled with gratitude and happiness, good energy and can meditate easily and just float to where I’m going because I know I’ll get there on time.

I hope you know how this feels.  If you do then I think that you’re on the right track.

As I’ve walked along this path to start up Urban Minerals, thinking into the future and taking each moment as it comes, life has seemingly molded to what I believe it will be - even on those mornings when things feel out of my control.  I have had so many conversations with close friends about manifestation, have had so many instances where that idea just seems to come to me that I can’t help but face it and work with it.  This idea of manifestation is therefore something that I’m actively learning about and working on, just as much as I’m researching up a storm for my lovely organic ingredients for Urban Minerals right now.  I believe the two go hand in hand.

It is my belief then that manifestation goes a little like this - the process by which all thoughts transform into tangible form.  First, it begins as a juicy idea - you know the kind that just seemingly jump into your brain and appear outta nowhere.  Then the idea meets with a feeling.  If the feeling is loving and nurturing, the idea and the feeling create the embryo of the manifestation.  You nourish your newborn idea by believing in it and by following the step-by-step guidance that comes to you from the Universe and then follow through with any feelings, dreams, and visions.  This process brings you directly to what you want.

I use this exact process when I work on Urban Minerals, while also asking for the most benevolent outcome yet.  I want only the best for myself and I do believe that I deserve it.  I also am not above doing the hard work, getting down to the nitty-gritty, so when I get the mental kicks to work, I follow them.  I think that this formula (which originally came from Doreen Virtue’s angel oracle card deck) has led me to exactly where I want to go.  And I think that if you want to believe in it and go for it, you can manifest exactly what it is that you’re after.

Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself.  If your intentions are good, then what you want will come to you.  Just don’t give it a deadline - you want it to come about as organically as possible - no forcing it to happen!

Every morning when you wake up, think about how you want the day to go, or wait, while breathing deeply, for some amazing thought or idea to jump into your head.  And even if it just means thinking positively about how the day will pan out, like a gold miner does when he pans for gold in the river and thinks about the gold, wishes for the gold and gets out there and looks for the gold, let’s just say that it’s worth a try for the gold too!

If you have any questions, comments, or words of wisdom, by all means share them here or on twitter (@Urban_Minerals).  I hope to hear from you soon!
