Day 38: Time to Celebrate

by Sarah Devika Sumnauth

In life, I strive to always be able to celebrate my successes, no matter how big or small.  I may not always be perfect, and do that, but right now I think I am right on the ball.

This weekend I am off to the cottage up north to celebrate my birthday with friends, a non-negotiable in my books, but also to celebrate my new job at WF.  Now some people might not think it necessary to physically celebrate a new job, but in my world, I think it is and also vitally important.

It’s necessary because it means that I can feel a sense of accomplishment.  This need is definitely a big factor in how I live my life.  I want to feel like I’m doing right by my friends and family and most importantly myself.

It’s important because with celebration comes positive energy and love.  That is absolutely to keep me feeling motivated and good about my choices.  It’s also something that will spur on further action, which will cause a chain reaction and encourage my sense of momentum to gain speed.

So with that I bid you adieu until tomorrow.  Have a good weekend everyone, live it to the fullest, and for whatever reason, or no reason at all, celebrate something wonderful that has come into your life!
