After a weekend of endless amounts of fun, sunshine, laughter and love, I’m finally back in my hood for some much needed rest before I start my new job tomorrow.
First and foremost I just want to send a big thank you! out to everyone that came up this weekend and made my bday celebrations everything I could have wished for and more. I love you all! What is life without good friends? And a camp fire?
I was very blessed the whole weekend with wonderful weather, something I can only thank the Universe for in droves. It was phenomenal and I can’t believe that this was my life for one light-filled weekend. It was surreal.
Now I use the term surreal because it is to a certain extent totally out of the realm of my normal day to day life. Waking up early, going down to the dock, chilling out, eating great food, basking in the sun, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboating, eating more great food, shooting the shit, building a blazing campfire, more dock time, and then sitting out on the dock at night to stare up at the sky and see a billion stars burning bright, without any hint of light pollution, and even catching 7, that’s right, 7 shooting stars…
All of this makes me so happy, like I’m heading into my 25th year with a lot of grace on my side as well as a wonderful support system of people who love me and an environment that I want to work hard to protect.
Keeping it real like this every once in a while is so necessary for me to appreciate this beautiful planet and fill me back up with the natural energy that I so need and love.
On that blissed out note, I will end this post on the thought that I just want to work so much harder now, on the other side of that weekend, so I can rock the shit out of my new job, help as many people as possible and also tie all of that great energy and momentum into bringing Green Beauty to you guys.
If I love it this much, than it must be worth sharing…
