Urban Minerals

November 12, 2014

by Sarah Devika Sumnauth

I finally got around to hanging this beautiful #watercolour #painting my good friend Deborah Galardo painted! Her explanation to me of this scene? It was brought forth from a past life memory in Japan where a ship is leaving the harbour of safety and embarking out onto the open seas, but as a testament to the learning that has come before, has a simple peace flag waving in the winds. When she told me that, I instantly connected to it. I too am soon embarking on a journey out of the known waters of my safe harbour. Interesting how these things coincide. Check out deborahgalardo.com to find a piece that speaks to your #soul
