Days off legitimately are the best thing since sliced bread. No lie.
Aside from sleeping in until quarter to nine, I was able to set myself aside some personal time to get a few things done, namely prepping my room to paint on Sunday (yay!), following up on important tasks and shovelling the driveway (lol). Making movements like this helps me in the balance department because I feel like I’m doing something great for myself as well as for the other areas of my life, and that’s a very nice feeling. Without this me time if you will, I would probably feel more bogged down and unhappy.
In relation to Urban Minerals planning I followed up on three communications I have going and it’s looking like February is indeed going to be a month more closely linked with collaboration and fun. While January was far more strained, this month I feel a refreshing letting going that is making the process flow so much better.
Finally, because I’m getting ready for BSchool to begin in March, I’ve also been receiving Marie Forleo’s free online training videos. These are really top notch, chock full of wonderful business advice and help to make the process of getting it all done much easier with such great guidance at my fingertips. The video I watched today was all about marketing and how it can be used so it feels (and really is) coming from the heart. That’s right up my alley, because what’s better than getting a product that you connect with that’s being sold with your best interest and health in mind. Perfect right? Have a super snowy Friday nights ladies and gents!
